Blair is best known for cutting the universally acclaimed 2022 film Aftersun for director Charlotte Wells, for which Blair won a British Independent Film Award and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for best editing. Aftersun was also nominated for the Critics' Week Grand Prize at Cannes and won the French Touch Prize of the Critics' Week Jury. Prior to this film, Blair was known for cutting the features Raf and The Assistant as well as the documentaries After Sherman and Mr. Soul!.

Blair's work has screened at film festivals all around the world. He has cut dozens of critically lauded short films spanning a variety of genres and mediums, making him a versatile and experienced editor for a wide range of projects no matter the form or the subject. Blair is originally from San Diego but currently resides in New York City. He is currently cutting a documentary about the Amazon union drive, while he simultaneously continues to ascend into the feature space by exploring new projects.
