Corey Walter is an American Cinematographer born and raised in Texas who is now based in Los Angeles, California.  Walter began his career as a Still Photographer– his work focused on portraits and lifestyle images featured in prestigious publications such as Dazed & Confused, Surface, W Magazine, New York Times, Another Man and The London Sunday Telegraph. He shot for brands such as Nike, Puma, Apple and more.

 

As Walter’s still photography career continued to expand, he soon realized his true calling was indeed cinematography. Walter then began shooting campaigns for brands like Adidas, Apple, American Express, Playstation, ESPN, Coach and Kate Spade. He has since shot hundreds of commercials for directors like Stacy Wall, Matt Aselton, Dayton/Faris, Phil Morrison, Ted Pauly and many more.

 

Recent narrative projects include the feature film Lying and Stealing, directed by Matt Aselton and starring Theo James, which will be released in 2019; feature film The House of Tomorrow for director Peter Livolsi, starring Asa Butterfield;  television pilot for Amazon The Highston, for directors Dayton/Faris; interactive art film Station to Station, directed by visual artist Doug Aitken; and  feature film Goodbye to All That, which garnered two nominations and won a jury award at the Tribeca Film Festival.
