Alessandro Marvelli is an Italian production designer who lends his unique designs to both commercial and narrative projects globally.

Commercially, Alessandro has designed for brands including Chevrolet, Amazon, and USPS. He has also worked on music videos for Bella Thorne and Avril Lavigne.

 

His narrative credits include Rumble Through the Dark for Lionsgate and Audrey Cummings' Place of Bones, which won Best Film at San Francisco Film Festival. In 2021, Alessandro won Best Production Designer for the feature film This Game’s Called Murder at the International Fantastic Film Festival in Brazil, the most prestigious Fantasy & Sci-Fi Festival in South America. 

Most recently, Alessandro designed Francesca Gregorini's Hurricanna, a biopic on Anna Nicole Smith starring Sylvia Hoeks and Holly Hunter.

Originally from Italy, Alessandro has been based in Los Angeles since 2006 and is an active member of the Art Director Guild of America (Local 800). He studied Digitial Cinema at the University of La Sapienza in Rome and comes from a background of painting and illustration.
