Anna Hauger, ACE is a two-time Primetime Emmy-nominated editor whose distinct voice spans across sci-fi, fantasy, and drama. She recently cut and associate produced the HBO series Dune: Prophecy, and is currently cutting the upcoming sci-fi thriller Neuromancer for Apple TV, starring Callum Turner.
In 2025, Hauger edited Netflix’s historical drama Death by Lightning and received an ACE nomination for Best Edited Limited Series. The series stars Michael Shannon, Matthew Macfadyen, and Betty Gilpin, and chronicles the events leading up to President James Garfield’s assassination. In the same year, Hauger cut Andy Hines’ gripping crime film Little Lorraine, which premiered at Toronto International Film Festival.
Other notable credits include Station Eleven, Westworld, and Watchmen, all of which received ACE nominations for Hauger’s work. She works frequently with Netflix, having cut the fantasy series Locke & Key and 3 Body Problem, which she also co-produced (season 2). Over her career, Hauger has collaborated with significant directors including Anna Foerster, Jeremy Podeswa, J.D. Dillard, Nicole Kassell, Jonathan Nolan, Minkie Spiro, Miguel Sapochnik, and many others.
Graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in biology, she subsequently pivoted towards film at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and AFI, and now works locally in Los Angeles and Colorado. She is fluent in English and Norwegian.
