jeremy hindle

Jeremy Hindle is an Emmy-winning and multi–Art Directors Guild Award-winning production designer whose work across film and television demonstrates a rare ability to merge architectural precision with cinematic storytelling. While widely recognized for his television work, Hindle has built an impressive film résumé defined by both critical acclaim and box office success.

His production design contributed to the global phenomenon of Top Gun: Maverick, which grossed nearly $1.5 billion worldwide and earned multiple Academy Awards, reinforcing its place as one of the most successful films of the decade. For his work on the film, Hindle received an Art Directors Guild Award nomination for Excellence in Production Design for a Contemporary Film. His collaborations with director Kathryn Bigelow further highlight his impact in prestige cinema, including Zero Dark Thirty, a Best Picture nominee at the Academy Awards, for which he earned an Art Directors Guild Award nomination for Excellence in Production Design for a Contemporary Film, and Detroit, a critically acclaimed historical drama noted for its immersive realism. Most recently, he re-teamed with Bigelow on A House of Dynamite for Netflix, continuing a creative partnership associated with award-winning storytelling and global audiences.

On the television side, Hindle achieved widespread recognition for his groundbreaking work on Severance. His design of the Lumon headquarters—at once sterile and surreal—became a defining visual language of the series. The work earned him multiple Art Directors Guild Awards (2023, 2026) and an Emmy Award for Outstanding Production Design, cementing his reputation as one of the most innovative designers working today.

Across blockbuster filmmaking, socially resonant cinema, and television, Hindle consistently delivers environments that are not just visually striking, but integral to narrative and performance. He is currently set to bring that same level of vision to the upcoming Miami Vice film directed by Joseph Kosinski.
