Mikhail Krichman, RGC is a Russian-born cinematographer internationally recognized for his longstanding collaboration with director Andrey Zvyagintsev on The Return, The Banishment, Elena, Leviathan, Loveless, and most recently, the political drama Minotaur. He has received numerous international awards including the Golden Frog, Silver Frog, and the European Film Award for Best Cinematographer, making him one of the most awarded DPs at Camerimage.

His filmography also includes works with acclaimed directors such as Alexei Fedorchenko (Silent Souls), Jim Sheridan (The Secret Scripture), and Liv Ullmann (Miss July). His most recent feature, Vermiglio, for director Maura Delpero, premiered in Official Competition at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, where it won the Silver Lion and the Green Drop Award. For his work, Krichman received a Camerimage nomination, and the film was selected at major festivals including Berlin, Toronto, Chicago, and London.

Now based in London, Mikhail continues to work across Europe and internationally. He is fluent in both English and Russian.
