Born in the UK, Ted Guard is a multi-award winning editor known for his work in commercials and feature films. He has worked for every major global brand and his creativity in the cutting room has been awarded internationally at the British Arrows, AICP, CLIOS and Andy’s.

In 2019, Guard cut Alejandro Landes’ Monos, which won multiple awards and earned him a win for Editing at the CinEuphoria Awards. In late 2021, Guard cut Taylor Swift’s Grammy-winning short film "All Too Well" for Swift’s album "Red (Taylor’s Version)".

 

Most recently, Guard edited Dead Shot, directed by the Guard brothers, a tense story of revenge starring Felicity Jones, Mark Strong, Aml Ameen, and Colin Morgan.

Guard is a partner at Rock Paper Scissors NY and relocated to New York in 2010 to set up the company's east coast branch.
